Location is everything!
The Golf Course has groomed trails literally out the back door we will start there for nordic/x-country skiing, snowshoeing or hiking.
The same activities can be had at Ponderosa State Park just 4 blocks west of the house - with the Golf Course trails getting you with in 2 -3 blocks and the endless back country.
Downhill Skiing:
Brundage Ski Area is 15-20 min. up Hwy 55
Tamarack Ski Resort is 20-25 min. down Hwy 55 just west of Donnley. (links)
